Yoshinoyama 吉野山
Yoshinoyama 吉野山 is located at the southern outskirt of Yoshino-chou 吉野町 and is famous for Sakura blossom.
There are thousands of Sakura trees in the mountain, and are divided into 4 areas : (from lowest to the highest) Shimosenbon 下千本, Nakasenbon 中千本, Kamisenbon 上千本, and Okusenbon 奥千本. The Sakura blossom periods are different : the lowest the earliest.
The sky was very cloudy and the sun only came out in the last minutes of my hike. Furthermore, my camera lens malfunction in the middle of the day. I could only shoot photos at 24mm since then.
The nearest train station is Yoshino station 吉野駅 of Kintetsu Yoshino Line 近鉄吉野線.
