JR Umishibaura Station JR海芝浦駅
JR Umishibaura Station JR海芝浦駅 is a very special terminal station where the whole station area is located inside a private company's properties (Toshiba 東芝).
Person without valid business with the company cannot exit the station. Back in 1995, Toshiba 東芝 has opened a small park connected to the station platform.
The train schedule is very infrequent outside of rush hours. If one does not use the same train to return, one might be stuck in the station for hours and without toilet facilities.
The station has another unique point : the platform is located just next to the sea.
