Tamayura was a 4 episodes OVA anime series released in 2010. Tamayura ~hitotose~ was a 12+1 episodes TV anime series aired in 2011. Tamayura ~more aggressive~ was a 12 episodes TV anime series aired between July and September 2013.
The main characters are Fuu, Kaoru, Norie, Maon, Kanae, Chihiro, Kou, Tamae, Grandma, Sayomi, Shihomi, Chimo, Komachi, and Momoneko-sama.

Ando no Seto is the area around the strait between mainland and Kurahashi Island. Ando Tosen (Ando ferry) is the shortest ferry service (120 meters, fare is 70 yen) in Japan. If the ferry is not at the pier, one just calls out to the opposite pier and the ferry will come and get you.
The nearest train station is Kure station of JR Kure Line.

Bamboo Joy Highland is a park located between Oonori and Takehara train stations. For the photos of the park, they were taken in 2 separate days, as I had to abandon the session midway on the first day due to heavy raining.

Sunami Kaihin Kouen (Sunami Seaside Park) is located at the south east side of Mihara-shi, and is mainly consists of a couple of beaches.
The nearest train station is Mihara station of JR Sanyou Main Line, Kure Line, and Sanyou Shinkansen.

Odayama Jinja is a small shrine located at the north side of Takehara-shi.
Shoukei no Michi (Road of Aspiration) is a local annual festival of bamboo (namesake of the city name) and lights. This year it was held on 26th and 27th of October 2013.

Uraga is located at the east side of Yokosuka-shi, and was the place where US Navy Commodore Matthew Perry landed in Japan in 1853 and force opened Japan to trade with the West.
Uraga is separated into east Uraga and west Uraga by the Uraga Harbour. Each side of the harbour has a Kanou Jinja.
Uraga no watashibune is the ferry service across the Uraga harbour using a small boat called Atagomaru (9 meter long, weight 4.8 ton). The short trip cost 150 yen.
The Uraga Harbour Festival (Uraga Minato Matsuri) is being held every summer. Events in the festival include fireworks show, lantern parade, sparkler competition, etc.
