Hokkaido Shari-gun - Shari-chou
Shari-chou is the entrance of the Shiretoko Peninsula, which contains the Shiretoko Peninsula National Park, and was registered as a Natural Site of UNESCO World Heritage in 2005.
The nearest train station is Shiretoko-Shari station of JR Senmou Main Line

Hokkaido Shari-gun - Shiretoko-goko
Shiretoko-goko (5 lakes of Shiretoko) is the lakes area of the Shiretoko Peninsula. On the day of visit, the ground level walk paths were closed due to brown bear sighting. Only the high-rise wooden walkway was opened, hence only Lake 1 could be reached.
