Tokyo-to Sumida-ku Tokyo Sky Tree
Tokyo Sky Tree is the new TV signal tower being built in Sumida-ku, Tokyo. As of 01 Mar 2011, it was at 604 meters tall, which is already the tallest building in Japan. When completed later this year, it will stand at 634 meters, the second tallest freestanding structure in the world. All photos in this page were taken on various bridges on the Kita-jikken River.
The nearest train station is Narihirabashi Station of Tobu Isesaki Line. The station will be renamed to Tokyo Sky Tree Station in 2012 Spring when the tower is officially opened.
